Erika and I had a wonderful time capturing Ella Grace in our studio. She was a perfect model for her newborn photos and I think we found ourselves a beautiful new soul. We want to thank Ella’s parents Nick and Laura for sharing their angel with us and trusting us with creating a collection of photos that we hope Ella’s family will forever cherish.

As soon as we found out that Ella’s mom loves turtles, Erika went to work on a custom home-made turtle outfit and as you can see, Ella was beautiful and absolutely loved it.

Not to leave Dad out, Ella wanted to show her team spirit and support for her dad’s favorite team The Cincinnati Reds but she also decided it was time for another nap. 🙂
Ella offered to model some of our favorite newborn wraps and we even managed to coax a smile out of her in one of the photos. She resisted smiling but we caught this one.

Ella’s grandmother made this beautiful blanket and we got to showcase it with this great new drawer basket prop. What do you think?
Ella does like her naps and here is proof. Isn’t she as cute as can be though?
Ella’s mom explained the significance of the rainbow headband which made both Ella and this photo of her even more special.
I think we had just about tired Ella out from all of the posing and outfit changes, but she agreed to one more using our very popular scale prop showing all of her birth statistics.
Ella Grace was born on July 1, 2016 at 4:59pm, weighed in at a healthy 6lbs-5oz and started out at 20″ long. Since Ella’s mom is part of the nursing team at The Christ Hospital, Ella of course started out life at work with mom and Dr. Melissa Heidi
